Define what finished means
A practical brief for an ambition that has stayed too broad for too long.
The outcome
What should exist, work or be different? Name the result in ordinary words. A personal pursuit does not need to become a business to count. It does need a finish you can recognise.
The evidence
How will you know? Define something observable: a demonstration, a delivered work, a completed event or a tested capability. A percentage can help you describe progress, but it is not evidence by itself.
The constraints
What time, money, knowledge, access or permissions do you have? Include obligations that cannot move. A useful plan fits these conditions instead of assuming an imaginary uninterrupted week.
The first milestone
Choose the earliest result that would teach you something meaningful. For an invention, demonstrate one mechanism. For a company, test one offer. For a creative pursuit, complete one piece at an agreed standard.
Copy this short brief
I want to finish: ____. It matters because: ____. I will know it is finished when: ____. The constraints are: ____. My first milestone is: ____. My next move is: ____, by ____. Review the brief as evidence changes; it is a working decision, not a promise to ignore what you learn.
